I love animals. And for the last 17 years I have loved painting animal portraits. It has been said that everyone has a special gift; I am pleased that mine creates lasting images of beloved family members. My career in animal painting started with my own Cardigan Corgi dog portrait, and grew by word of mouth as more and more people saw my work.
I paint from either digital or physical photographs of your animals, because let’s face it – cute as they are - they just refuse to sit still long enough for their portraits. Plan to forward several of your favorite in-focus color pictures from a number of angles and lighting, so I can get to know their personalities. While many of my commissions have been dogs, I paint all animals and would love to meet yours! Please view a selection of my animal portraits below.
